Honeydew Live-In Care Service

Compassionate care and support 24/7

If you need 24-hour care and would prefer to remain in your own home, retaining your independence, then our Live-In Care Service is for you. Many older people choose this option when their relatives live far away, they have complex health needs that require specialist care, or they would simply like the assurance of having someone to provide support 24/7.

Honeydew’s live-in carers are fully trained to support older people, adults and children with complex health needs such as learning disabilities, Asperger’s, Alzheimer’s, Dementia, Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinson’s and other long-term conditions.

Our live-in Carers will get to know you and your routines, your interests and preferences, so that you receive support and companionship the way you would like it.

How we can help you

Our live-in Carers can support you in many ways throughout the day, including:

  • Personal care, e.g. helping you to get washed and dressed.
  • Domestic duties, such as preparing meals, cleaning and shopping.
  • Accompanying you to appointments, visiting day centres or running errands on your behalf.
  • Supporting you if you have complex health needs or disabilities.

All of our Carers are fully trained in administering medication, record keeping, manual handling, hoist training, and health and safety, as well as safeguarding adults and children. This means that you can be assured that the live-in Carer will offer a high quality, compassionate service at all times.
