Live-In Services

If you need 24-hour care and you prefer to remain in your own home we can provide live-in care so you retain your independence. Many older people choose this option when their family live far away and they want they assurance of having someone to support them 24/7 or they may have complex health needs that need specialist care.

If you decide that you would like to have a live-in carer you can contact us and a supervisor will come and meet with you to assess your needs and develop a care plan. We are used to supporting older people alongside other health and social care professionals and work well as part of a multi-disciplinary team.

Honeydew Healthcare take time to understand your personal requirements and your preferences, we want to ensure we match you with a carer that will be able to support you and offer companionship if this is required. Over time our carers will get to know what you like and don’t like so we can match the service to you personally.

Our live-in carers can help with a wide range of different activities. These include:

  • Personal care including helping you to get dressed and washed.
  • Domestic chores, such as preparing meals, cleaning and shopping.
  • Taking you out for appointments or running errands on your behalf.
  • Supporting you if you have complex health needs or disabilities.

Our live-in carers are fully trained to support adults and older people with more complex health needs such as; learning disabilities, Asperger’s, Alzheimer’s, Dementia, Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinson’s and other long-term conditions.

All our carers are also fully trained medication administration, record keeping, manual handling, hoist training, health and safety as well as safe guarding adults. This means that you can be assured that the live-in carer will offer high quality service at all times.

We are based in the heart of the Midlands and offer live-in care across Birmingham, Coventry, Nottingham, Leicester and Derby.
